What I'm Thinking About...
Have you ever heard of precognition? It’s when you intuitively know something will happen before it actually happens. It can come in a dream, a vision, or other knowing. Well, a couple of weeks ago, I was teaching a workshop about intuition and explaining precognition. And two days later, I was heading out for a walk first thing in the morning. I pulled on my yoga pants – the ones with the deep, secure pockets– laced up my walking sneakers, and grabbed a lightweight zip up, along with my phone, earbuds and house key.
Just as I put my phone in the same pocket as the key, I saw an image of me returning home without my house key. And I felt this inner knowing that I should move my house key to my other pocket. Then I thought about where keep an extra key just in case, shoved the house key to the very bottom of the same pocket it was in, told myself I didn’t need to worry, and headed out on my morning walk.
It was a lovely morning. The temperatures in New England are starting to cool down a bit. It felt good to be out by the water getting a few steps in before starting my work day.
I’m sure you know where this is going! When I got home, my key was no longer in my pocket, and I had to use my hide-a-key to get back into the house.
The funny thing is – I wasn’t even surprised. I saw my key disappearing out of my pocket and I didn’t respond as I knew that I should. It would have been so easy to just move the key to my other pocket before I left the house. But I didn’t listen to the small voice inside me. Instead, I ignored the guidance that came to me and, once again, was reminded that the right answer is not always the logical one.
The thing is, we are all sensitives. Our souls are always speaking to us in the language of feeling. Whether or not you actually have visions, you are psychic. We all are. The key (no pun intended!) is to pay attention and act on the feelings that flow to us because they are guidance.

So, as we head into Autumn, a time of change in the seasons and in ourselves, I encourage us both to be more present, to notice the intuitive nudges we receive, and to trust that our intuition will never lead us down the wrong path.

In-Person Readings
On Saturday, October 24th, I am returning to the Swampscott Church of Spiritualism for an afternoon of mediumship readings. All proceeds support the Swampscott Church of Spiritualism. Come for a reading (or two!) and stay to shop the local artisan craft fair and raffle!
